RepairCheck Australia offers independent visual inspections for vehicles that have already been repaired after an accident. Our role is to inspect the repaired vehicle, document visible defects or potential concerns, and provide the owner with a clear understanding of the repair outcome.

All pricing below is in Australian dollars (AUD).

RepairCheck Standard

A$295

A visual post-repair inspection for owners who want an independent second opinion on the quality of the repair.

Includes:

  • visual inspection of repaired areas
  • review of panel gaps, fit, and alignment
  • review of visible paint match and finish quality
  • review of visible trim fitment and presentation
  • photo documentation of observed issues
  • short summary of findings

Best for:

Owners who want to know whether the repair looks acceptable before deciding whether to take the matter further.

RepairCheck Report

A$445

A more detailed post-repair inspection with a written report for owners who want documented findings they can keep for their records or raise with the repairer or insurer.

Includes:

  • everything in the Standard Inspection
  • more detailed written report
  • issue categories grouped by type
  • photo-supported findings
  • comparison against repair estimate, quote, or invoice where available
  • plain-English explanation of visible concerns and possible next steps

Best for:

Owners who want a professional written report and clearer documentation of visible repair quality issues.

RepairCheck Detailed Report

A$695

A higher-detail inspection and reporting service for more serious repair quality concerns where the owner wants a more comprehensive document.

Includes:

  • full visual inspection
  • expanded written report
  • detailed photo documentation
  • issue breakdown by area and concern type
  • comparison against repair paperwork where available
  • clearer supporting material for follow-up with the repairer, insurer, or other relevant party

Best for:

Owners dealing with more significant concerns, multiple visible defects, or cases where stronger documentation is needed.

Reinspection

A$195

A follow-up inspection after rectification or additional repair work has been carried out.

Includes:

  • visual reinspection of previously identified areas
  • check of visible changes or corrections
  • brief follow-up summary
  • photo documentation of reinspection findings

Best for:

Owners who have already had an inspection with us and want the repaired areas checked again after further work.

Travel surcharge

From A$40

A travel charge may apply for inspections outside our standard service area.

Applies to:

  • regional bookings
  • longer-distance mobile appointments
  • locations outside our normal operating zone

Urgent turnaround surcharge

A$75 to A$150

Available where priority scheduling or faster report turnaround is requested.

Applies to:

  • urgent inspections
  • priority written reports
  • short-notice bookings where available

Important note about scope

RepairCheck Australia provides visual, non-invasive inspections only.

We do not:

  • perform repairs
  • dismantle the vehicle
  • measure chassis or frame alignment
  • certify structural integrity
  • provide engineering certification
  • guarantee that hidden damage is absent

We document what we can see at the time of inspection, including visible defects, workmanship issues, and potential concerns that may justify further specialist follow-up.
